APPLICATIONS OF MCC PANEL
A motor control center (MCC) is an assembly of one or more enclosed sections having a common power bus and principally containing motor control units. Motor control centers are in modern practice a factory assembly of several motor starters. A motor control center can include variable frequency drives, programmable controllers, and metering and may also be the electrical service entrance for the buildingAutomation System MCC Panel have been designed to meet the specific needs of several industries including: • Oil and gas (upstream, downstream and pipeline).
• Water treatment and wastewater
• Commercial construction
• Mining and aggregate
• Utility
SPECIFICATIONS
Each motor controller in an MCC can be specified with a range of options such as separate control transformers, led lamps, control switches, extra control terminal blocks, various types of thermal or solid-state overload protection relays, or various classes of power fuses or types of circuit breakers. A motor control center can either be supplied ready for the customer to connect all field wiring, or can be an engineered assembly with internal control and interlocking wiring to a central control terminal panel board or programmable controller.FEATURES OF MCC PANEL:
• Fabricated out of Sheet Metal Sections on CNC machines.• Powder Coated Enclosure & Modular design.
• Rear Access or Front Access option available.
• Flexible Cable Entry Top or Bottom in Rear Access option.
• Higher Heat Dissipation due to Bus bar configuration.
• Easy bus bar Maintenance.
• Bus bar System upgradeable at site.
• Feeder size upgradeable at site.
• Optimized dimensions
• The shrouded link work ensures complete safety in the cable alley.
BENEFITS OF MCC PANEL:
Sai Automation System motor control centers (MCC) provide a convenient method for grouping motor control, as well as associated distribution equipment.BENEFITS AS FOLLOWS:
• Easy accessibility for faster maintenance
• Ease of installation and movement of plug-in units
• Prevents arcing faults from propagating
• Improved service access to save time
• Clearly indicate equipment status (ON, TRIP, OFF)
